As I was sick in the first week of the term, I started at the second week. During the first six weeks of the first term, I leaned a lot and the content of the study can be summarized as follows:

4.Analyse the leadership style of Vivienne Westwood and Calvin Klein, recognize the leadership styles of Transactional or Transformational, learn about leadership theories, including Kotter’s theory about Role of a Manager and “Management vs Leadership”,Mintzberg’s Management Roles and Blake Mouton Managerial Grid.
5.International expansion strategies including Internationalisation, Global integration,Local responsiveness and market entry mode including Export, Ecommerce, Licensing,Franchising,Merger & Acquisition,Foreign Direct Investment
6.Identify Global Corporate Strategy using The Ansoff Matrix
7.Conduct a group presentation about the leadership style of Anna Wintour.

In the first six weeks, I visited the garment factory, learned a lot of knowledge about the fashion industry that I had never seen before through the guest lecture, summarized the knowledge I had learned, and participated in the group discussion and teamwork in the class. My ability of teamwork and critical thinking has been strengthened.
